Enabling underprivileged Kenyan communities to realize their highest potential and hopes for earthly and eternal happiness and success!

Joyadams and Katie met in Kenya through serving university students. After leading several student initiatives together they realized that God had given them a special relationship and complimentary gifts and talents. They married in 2016 and are blessed with two young girls.

Joyadams has a background in electronic media and is keen to use his skills to advance and assist holistic community transformation(s). Katie is from Oregon and has a background in missions and studied theology and community development.

Both have a desire to uplift underprivileged communities in Kenya. In 2018, they co-founded BE THE SALT AFRICA to serve as a local entity committed to uplifting communities by making disciples of Jesus, and by building capacities and promoting synergies for livelihood support, poverty alleviation and community services

Their long term vision is to see underprivileged Kenyans enjoying the highest quality of life in restored environments, now and forever!

They are claiming God’s promise, “Behold, I will do something new… I will even make a roadway in the wilderness, rivers in the desert” (Is. 43:19).
